2021 Super Eagles invitee Calvin Bassey has apparently endorsed Rangers acquisition of Ivory Coast international Amad Diallo on a temporary basis from Manchester United.
The Nigeria hopeful has given his approval of the transfer of the exciting African winger by liking a post from Rangers announcing the signing of Diallo until the end of the season.
The post has been liked by Bassey and 27,106 Instagram users approximately one hour after the deal was confirmed.
Predominantly a right winger, the Ivorian could provide competition for Joe Aribo, who has been deployed as a winger and right midfielder in some matches for the Scottish Premiership champions this season.
Aribo was not involved in the Light Blues' last game versus Livingston as he was fatigued following his trip from Africa but Bassey did feature - the left-back's twelfth consecutive start in the division.
The Leicester City academy product was barely used in his maiden season in the Premiership with only three starts to his name but benefited from the absence of compatriot Leon Balogun who had been recovering from a back issue.
