Could Balogun, Aribo depart Rangers this summer?Super Eagles duo Leon Balogun and Joe Aribo could potentially leave Rangers at the end of the season. While Balogun’s contract expires this summer, his compatriot is yet to sign a new deal.

Two Eagles find themselves in contrasting situations. Balogun, 33, is in the final months of his one-year deal and there hasn’t been any fresh offer on the table. Aribo, on the other hand, is weighing his options and several best usa online casinos are awaiting his decision.

Balogun’s one-and-a-half years at Ibrox can be classified as a success. Signed after a torrid two campaigns at Brighton, the Nigerian wasn’t the glamour arrival. He had featured just eight times for The Seagulls and didn't exactly make a strong impression on loan at Wigan with a further four matches.

Balogun was signed on an initial one year contract with an option for a second. The plan was clear. He was a quick fix rearguard with experience and pedigree to assist the young players in their development.

Hear former coach Steven Gerrard “I am pleased to secure the signature of Leon. He is an experienced centre half who will add strength and depth to our squad.

"His experience in the Premier League as well as his international pedigree strengthens our squad and will assist in the development of our young defenders”.

But Balogun overwhelmed. In his first season, the 33-year-old made 28 appearances for The Gers, including eight in Europe. He was only a game shy of his season’s best 29 matches at Werder Bremen in 2010/11.

Owing to his injury history, Balogun’s influence was predicted to decline this term. But it hasn't quite been the case. The ex-Mainz star is on track to better his previous return with 21 matches under his belt.

The Nigerian, though, has missed 10 matches with a knock. He was out three more times the entire of last season. It seems unlikely, however, that Rangers would offer Balogun a new deal, especially as he clocks 34 in June.

For Aribo, the reverse is the case. He has a year to go. At 25, there is still ample time and options. Giovanni Van Bronckhorst, who is a regular at https://www.jackpotjill.net/en/, confirmed he has not spoken to him or Ryan Kent about their contract situations.

He said, “I haven’t spoken with them about extending contracts. That’s something the club will do in the near future, so we just need to make sure we have the future well planned. Of course, these are players who are very important for our club so I think the talks will begin but with players of these qualities, you want to have them as long as possible.”

Aribo has been arguably Rangers player of the season this year. He has played 36 games for the club this season, registering six goals and six assists respectively.

Signed from Charlton for a development fee he has gone on to play 127 games for the club and is arguably the most talented player to play at Ibrox for years. He is considered as one of the club's best pieces of business in a while.

Recent reports have suggested former Old Firm bosses Steven Gerrard and Brendan Rodgers may pursue his signature. It is very possible that Aribo will end up in the Premier League. But Balogun could pursue a last paycheck in Asia or MLS.
