Fulham interested in signing Arsenal-owned Anglo-American-Nigerian attacker
Published: April 18, 2022Premier League-bound Fulham are interested in signing Arsenal-owned attacker Folarin Balogun in the summer.
HITC, making reference to the Daily Mail (subscription required) says the Cottagers have identified transfer targets ahead of their return to the Premier League and Balogun is one of them.
Fulham are working on a deal to sign the American-Anglo-Nigerian starlet on loan for the 2022-2023 season.
In the January transfer window, the England U21 international was loaned out to Middlesbrough, for whom he scored three goals and bagged two assists in nineteen all-competition appearances.
Balogun is represented by young London-based Nigerian agent Emeka Obasi, the CEO of Elite Project Group Limited.
Obasi has a good relationship with the powers that be at Fulham, having brokered the deals that took the Aina brothers and Josh Maja to Craven Cottage in the past, and used to look after another ex-Fulham star Ademola Lookman.
Balogun could see his first team opportunities limited again next season if he remains at the Emirates Stadium, with Arsenal linked with moves for several attackers before the window opens.
The Hale End Academy graduate has a contract with the Gunners until June 30, 2025.
