Crystal Palace and Club Brugge interested in signing 2019 Nigeria U17 invitee
Published: April 23, 2022Derby County wonderkid Malcolm Ebiowei is on the radar of clubs in the Championship and Jupiler Pro League ahead of the opening of the transfer window.
The Sun broke the news that Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira is teeing up a second swoop for one of Wayne Rooney's Rams rookies, Ebiowei.
The Eagles landed Luke Plange in the January transfer window before loaning the striker back to Derby County for the remainder of the season.
Allnigeriasoccer.com can confirm that Crystal Palace are interested in Ebiowei but face competition for his services.
The 2019 Golden Eaglets invitee is also drawing interest from current Belgian champions Club Brugge and an alternative option could see the attacking midfielder remain at Pride Park for next season.
Ebiowei is under contract with Derby County until June 30, 2022 but his deal cannot be renewed for the time
being because the club remain in administration.
The 18-year-old bagged his first assist of the season as the Rams were beaten 3-1 by Bristol City on Saturday.
