Red-hot Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman nominated for Serie A Player of the Month

Red-hot Super Eagles striker Ademola Lookman is in the running for the EA Sports Serie A Player of the Month for April having starred for Atalanta in the last couple of weeks.
He has been nominated alongside Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto, Genoa's Albert Guðmundsson, Roma forward Paulo Dybala, Napoli's Matteo Politano and Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Çalhanoğlu for the award.
The 26-year-old notched one goal and three assists to help Atalanta continue their push for a finish in one of the UEFA Champions League places.
They sit 6th in the table at the moment with 57 points, two points adrift of Roma who occupy the last Champions League spot, with five games left to be played.
He began the month with an assist against Cagliari and assisted twice in their victory over Monza before scoring his only league goal of the month against Empoli last weekend.
His four goal involvements in April is the joint- highest he has recorded in a single month in the Italian top-flight this season, having notched the same tally in December.
He was also included in Whoscored.com's Team of the Month for April with a rating of 7.56, alongside international teammate Victor Osimhen who also starred for Napoli.
Lookman has featured in 27 Serie A games this season and has nine goals and six assists to his name.
