Social : Obi Mikel, Victor Moses seemingly endorse Chelsea's signing of African star
Published: July 16, 2022Former Blues players John Obi Mikel and Victor Moses have seemingly endorsed Chelsea's signing of one of the top African players in Kalidou Koulibaly after liking an Instagram post by Chelsea's official account announcing the acquisition of the Senegal captain on a four-year contract.
Almost everyone knew that Koulibaly was heading to Stamford Bridge and the rumours reached fever pitch on Friday, July 15 when the central defender bid farewell to everyone associated with Napoli.
Chelsea have signed the Senegalese to fill the void created by the departures of centre-backs Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen who joined Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively this summer.
With the exception of Didier Drogba, Mikel is unarguably the most famous African footballer to play for Chelsea and he follows the happenings around the club to this day, while his former teammate for club and country Moses is more secretive.
Mikel and Moses spent twenty years combined at Chelsea and won the Premier League, FA Cup and Europa League whilst at the club.
Mikel and 370,395 Instagram users liked Chelsea's initial post announcing the signing of Koulibaly and Moses followed suit in the next post.
