Official : Chelsea loan out Super Eagles-eligible midfielder to Championship club
Published: July 22, 2022Through a statement on their official website, Huddersfield Town have confirmed the signing of Super Eagles-eligible attacking midfielder Faustino Anjorin.
The England U20 international of Nigerian descent is returning to The Terriers for a second spell, having spent the second half of last season on loan at the club, making eight appearances in all competitions.
Anjorin will be spending the whole of the 2022-2023 on loan at Huddersfield Town and will be aiming to make his full Championship debut in the new season.

The 20-year-old has already started training with his new teammates at Huddersfield Town as he has returned from Chelsea's pre-season training camp in the United States.
Anjorin netted his first senior goal in English football in the penultimate round of matches in last season's Championship, coming off the bench to convert a penalty in a 2-1 win at Coventry City.
Huddersfield Town have pulled off a major transfer coup by luring the Anglo-Nigerian to the John Smith's Stadium as he was courted by other clubs in the second tier of English football.
Huddersfield's Head of Football Leigh Bromby said on Anjorin : "Tino is up there with most 20-year-olds in the country in terms of talent.
"He was unlucky last season with the injury he sustained, but our coaches saw more than enough in their work with him to push hard for his return for the coming season.
"We had to be patient as he went away with Chelsea’s First Team, but when the opportunity presented itself, we didn’t hesitate.
"Tino had lots of options, but it speaks volumes for the work of our staff that he knew this was where he wanted to come."
Anjorin has been allocated the number 8 jersey ahead of Huddersfield Town's first competitive game of the 2022-23 campaign against Burnley next Friday.
