Real Madrid loanee of Nigerian descent in contention to make La Liga 2 debut tonight

Marvin Akinlabi is in contention to make his La Liga 2 debut tonight when UD Las Palmas trade tackles with Malaga at the Estadio La Rosaleda.
The versatile Spanish-born winger of Nigerian and South Korean descent was in Las Palmas traveling squad to the Andalusian province on Sunday afternoon.
Las Palmas head coach García Pimienta selected twenty players for the trip to Malaga, meaning it is a foregone conclusion that Akinlabi will be included in the matchday 20 provided he does not suffer an injury in the warmup.

Akinlabi is not in the plans of Los Blancos manager Carlo Ancelotti for the new season and has been loaned out to Las Palmas to aid his development and boost his chances of playing first team football.
Las Palmas included an option to buy the 2020 UEFA Youth League winner permanently next summer.
He will be wearing the number 2 at the back of his jersey if he steps out on to the Estadio La Rosaleda turf for his La Liga 2 debut.
Akinlabi joined Real Madrid in summer of 2016, starting off with their Juvenil C and rose through the ranks before making his senior debut in a La Liga clash against Real Sociedad in September 2020.
