Nottingham Forest interested in signing Chelsea's Nigerian talent
Published: November 04, 2022Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that Premier League side Nottingham Forest are interested in signing Chelsea's Nigerian goalkeeper Prince Adegoke ahead of the reopening of the transfer window.
The 2019 Golden Eaglets invitee is on the lookout for a new club, with his contract at The Blues set to run out next summer.
Nottingham Forest are working on a convenient date for Adegoke to begin training with their development squad with a view to signing him if he proves to the coaching staff that he has not lost his form.
Forest know a thing or two about the talented glovesman having watched him at close quarters during last season's FA Youth Cup semifinal at the City Ground, where he was unbeaten for 85 minutes before the host netted three late goals.
Adegoke would be joining Super Eagles strikers Taiwo Awoniyi and Emmanuel Dennis at Nottingham Forest if the deal goes through.
The 19-year-old was loaned out to non-leaguers Welling United in July 2022 but was recalled by Chelsea the following month due to a lack of playing time.
He signed his first professional contract with the Stamford Bridge outfit after his 17th birthday.
