Pundit omits Madueke as he names the new players likely to be included in Chelsea's UCL squad

Sky Sports chief reporter Kaveh Solhekol in a report on Wednesday suggested that young Chelsea winger Noni Madueke could miss out on a UEFA Champions League spot for his new club as the round of 16 fixture against Borussia Dortmund approaches.
The England U-21 youth international of Nigerian descent arrived Chelsea in a £29m deal from Dutch Eredivisie side, PSV, but could find things go south as the Blues transfer business means that he will have tough competition on his hands.
UEFA regulations stipulate that clubs can only register three new players for the competition and that leaves Madueke contending with Benoit Badiashile, Mykhailo Mudryk, Joao Felix and Enzo Fernandez for places in Graham Potter's squad.
The team also signed David Datro Fofana who arrived from the Norwegian league and the Ivorian joins Madueke on the list of youngsters who could miss out from the competition due to inexperience.
"It's three from six. You would think Noni Madueke and David Datro Fofana will miss out as they're quite young.
"So you're left with four big-money signings: Enzo Fernandez, Mykhailo Mudryk,João Félix and Benoit Badiashile," Solhekol admitted on Sky Sports.
"Enzo Fernandez has got to be in the squad for £105m. Mudryk has to be in the squad for £88m. So you're wondering, is it going to be Joao Felix or Benoit Badiashile who is going to miss out?
"Joao Felix is a brilliant player on loan, how would he react to being left out?
"Then there's Benoit Badiashile, who has had a good impact so far as a centre-back. Would Chelsea want to go into the Champions League without him in their squad?"
Madueke has yet to make his debut in the Champions League but played in six matches in the qualifying rounds of the competition during his time at PSV Eindhoven.
