Tottenham Hotspur offer new deal to Golden Eaglets-eligible midfielder
Published: February 02, 2023
English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur have made a decision on their new intake of Academy scholars.
As expected, Golden Eaglet-eligible midfielder Callum Olusesi is among the promising teenagers offered scholarships by Tottenham Hotspur ahead of the 2023-2024 season.
The well-informed Secret Scout revealed via Twitter that Spurs have offered Olusesi fresh terms amid interest from other top Premier League clubs.
The north London club have shown how much they want to keep hold of the Anglo-Nigerian by recently inviting him to train with legendary England strikers Alan Shearer and Harry Kane.
Olusesi has frequently played up his age group, making eight appearances for Tottenham in this season's U18 Premier League and netted his first goal in the division against Aston Villa on January 7.
He made his UEFA Youth League debut off the bench against Sporting Lisbon in late October before making another substitute appearance against Marseille the following month, and has also featured in the U18 Premier League Cup.
Olusesi has played non-binding matches for England at U16 level.
