Ranking the top five Nigerian performers from matches over the weekend

There were a good number of Nigerian players that did well over the weekend.

5. Peter Olayinka: The left winger scored the equalizer as Slavia Prague came from behind to beat FC Viktoria Plzeň 2-1 in the Fortuna Liga. The goal took his tally to 9 for this league season.
4. Folarin Balogun: The Arsenal loanee scored the only goal as Stade de Reims got the better of Monacoin the Ligue 1. The goal couldn't have come at a better time for Balogun who had not scored since February 12.
3. Obinna Nwobodo: The FC Cincinnati defensive midfielder was in high heavens as he helped his team battle to a 1-0 over Seattle Sounders in the Major League Soccer.
2. Terem Moffi: The Nice forward gave his side the lead and assisted the second in their 2-2 draw away at FC Nantes. The goal took Moffi's tally to 15 for the season in the Ligue 1 but it was just his the third goal for Nice since moving to the club in January.
1.Gift Orban: Who else could it be? Orban scored a haul in KAA Gent's 6-2 victory over Zulte Waregem. The fact that he scored 4 goals from 5 shots on target made his heroic more incredible. He has now scored 9 goals in 8 appearances for Gent.
