Crystal Palace star Eze reaches double figures for goals in the PL after brace v Bournemouth
Published: May 13, 2023Eberechi Eze bagged a brace while Michael Olise registered an assist in Crystal Palace's 2-0 win over Bournemouth on matchday 36 of the Premier League played on Saturday afternoon at Selhurst Park.
Eze got his first goal in the 39th minute when he fired the ball past the Bournemouth goalkeeper after he was set free in the penalty area by Jordan Ayew.
The 24-year-old's goal will be the difference between the Eagles and their visitors at halftime.
Eze got his second of the afternoon in the 59th minute when he received a precise pass from Michael Olise before firing an unstoppable shot into the top right corner.
Eze has now reached double figures for goals (10) in the Premier League for Crystal Palace while his compatriot, Olise has registered 10 assists and two goals in 35 games this season.
Former Chelsea and Liverpool starlet Dominic Solanke went the distance for the Cherries in what was his 31st appearance in the top-flight but could not add to his thirteen goal contributions.
Crystal Palace are 12th in the Premier League with 43 points from 36 matches played.
