Turkish 1. Lig club Gaziantep FK are interested in signing Nigerian forward Emeka Eze as they prepare for the new league season.
According to Turkish outlet Sporte Digitale, Eyüpspor have slapped an asking price of 650,000 euros on Eze, who is demanding a salary of 600,000 euros (approximately N535 million in Nigerian currency) per annum.
Eze spent the second half of last season on loan at Istanbulspor, where he bagged four goals and registered 2=two assists in 15 games in the Super Lig.
He joined the Istanbul-based team from Turkish second-tier side Eyüpspor where he also notched six goals and two assists in the first half of the season.
The 26-year-old old has proven himself in Turkey and showed glimpses of goalscoring ability at Ankara Keciörengücü, for whom he scored 22 goals in 45 appearances.
Gaziantep enjoyed a turbulent season in the last campaign as they pulled out of the league midway into the season due to earthquakes.
They will be hoping that Eze can help them bounce back in the new league season.
