Tottenham are ready to firm up their interest in Nigerian central defender Tosin Adarabioyo.by making an official bid to Fulham for his signature.
According to Football. London, the north London club are set to launch a bid for the Fulham defender this week.
Spurs were one of the poorest defensive sides in the Premier League last season having conceded 63 and are yet to address their defensive woes less than two weeks before the start of the season.
Tosin alongside Micky van de Ven and Burkina Faso international Edmond Tapsoba have all been linked with the club.
With the club running out of time to sign a centre-back ahead of their Premier League opening game against Brentford, they are now ready to focus their attention on signing the Manchester City academy product.
The 25-year-old is already into the final months of his contract with Fulham and is set to leave Craven Cottage this summer.
He has also been linked with Monaco who have reportedly agreed personal terms with him which means Spurs will have to act fast if they are to secure his signature.
