The Super Eagles will face three-time Asian champions Saudi Arabia ahead of the start of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Nigeria will lock horns with Saudi Arabia in an international friendly match in the city of Portimão, Portugal on Friday, 13th October 2023.
The friendly against the Saudi Arabians is being used to prepare to the Super Eagles for November's World Cup qualifying matches against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
Saudi Arabia are holding a training camp in the Portuguese city of Algarve as part of the third phase of the preparatory program in preparation for the World Cup qualifiers.
After the friendly against the Nigeria national team, the Green Falcons have a second friendly match against the Mali national team on October 17.
For the friendlies in September against Costa Rica and South Korea, Saudi Arabia manager Roberto Mancini called up players based in the Saudi Pro League.
The Estadio Municipal de Portimão, in the Algarve, is the home ground of Portimonense S.C. and can seat close to 10,000 spectators.
