'Gave Man Utd's back four a torrid time' - PL's record goalscorer hails Solanke for display at Old Trafford

Premier League's record goalscorer with 260 goals, Alan Shearer has lauded Super Eagles-eligible striker Dominic Solanke for his brilliant performance during Bournemouth's historic 3-0 win against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday.
The out of favour England international broke the deadlock in the fifth minute when he flicked the ball past Manchester United's Cameroon goalkeeper André Onana, and could have doubled the advantage before the end of the first half but saw his effort hit the post.
Solanke is one of three Cherries players Shearer has selected in his Premier League Team of the Week, the others being Marcos Senesi and Marcus Tavernier, while Spanish tactician Andoni Iraola was also recognised as Manager of the Week.
The Anglo-Nigerian striker has been performing at his best this season, with his strike against Manchester United taking his tally for the season to eight goals in sixteen appearances - his best return in a single season in the top-flight of English football.
Explaining why Solanke was named in the Team of the Week, Shearer, a Premier League Hall of Famer said on the official website of the Premier League: "He ran the the show and gave Man Utd’s back four a torrid time. He took his goal well, too, with a great run to the near post.”
Shearer also had praise for Tottenham Hotspur left-back Destiny Udogie, with the Newcastle United legend stating that 'Newcastle couldn’t cope with his movement and he capitalised with a deserved goal'.
James Trafford (Burnley), Diego Carlos (Aston Villa), Rodri (Man City), Joao Palhinha (Fulham), John McGinn (Aston Villa), Dwight McNeil (Everton) and Richarlison (Spurs) have also been selected in Shearer's Team of the Week.
