Osimhen's headed goal helps Galatasaray set a club first in win against Istanbul rivals Besiktas

Victor Osimhen continued his fine start for Galatasaray when he netted in the 2-1 win over Beşiktaş in the Süper Lig, which was played at the RAMS Park on Monday evening.
The home side grabbed the lead in the 13th minute when Davinson Sánchez headed home Gabriel Sara's free kick.
In the 38th minute, Osimhen should have doubled the Lions' advantage after failing to bury the ball in the back of the net, sending his header wide from a precise cross.
A minute after the hour mark, the 25-year-old did brilliantly to get through Beşiktaş's defence, but his effort was dealt with by the goalkeeper Ersin Destanoglu.
He eventually got on the scoresheet in the 67th minute, outjumping his marker before planting a cracking header beyond Ersin Destanoğlu.
Courtesy of his header and that of Sánchez in the first half, Galatasaray scored two headed goals against Beşiktaş in a Süper Lig fixture for the first time since the 1995/1996 season, when Opta started collecting data in this category.
Osimhen couldn't add to his tally as his time on the pitch came to an end in the 82nd minute as he was replaced by Dries Mertens.
By netting tonight, the Super Eagles striker has now scored or assisted in all but one game that he has featured for Galatasaray and has recorded four goals and four assists for the Turkish defending champions.
