Fulham pushing to sign AC Milan winger Chukwueze ahead of transfer deadline
Published: August 27, 2025
Fulham are pushing ahead with negotiations to sign Nigerian international Samuel Chukwueze from AC Milan before the transfer window closes, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 26-year-old winger joined Milan from Villarreal in the summer of 2023 but has struggled to establish himself at the San Siro, with injuries and inconsistent form hampering his progress.
He has managed eight goals and six assists in 70 appearances across all competitions.
With new head coach Massimiliano Allegri overseeing a squad rebuild, Chukwueze has emerged as a potential departure.
Fulham are in advanced talks with the player and are discussing a deal worth around €25m with Milan.
The London club are also pursuing Shakhtar Donetsk winger Kevin Santos Lopes de Macedo, with a package worth over €40m under consideration.
Chukwueze, who has been named in Nigeria's provisional 31-man squad for the 2026 Fifa World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa, is eager to resolve his club future swiftly.
A return to England could provide the platform to reignite his career and bolster Fulham's attacking options.
