Victor Boniface bags assist on Werder Bremen debut, Njinmah finds the net, Agu fastest player

Nigeria international Victor Boniface made his competitive debut for Werder Bremen in style, featuring in a 4-0 victory over Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga at Borussia-Park on Sunday evening.
Boniface, who joined Bremen on deadline day after a failed move to AC Milan, was introduced in the 75th minute alongside fellow Nigerian Justin Njinmah, replacing Romano Schmid and Samuel Mbangula respectively.
Super Eagles defender Felix Agu was named in the starting XI and played the full 90 minutes.
The former Germany U21 international, who was an unused substitute in back-to-back World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa in September, impressed as Werder Bremen registered their first clean sheet of the season, having conceded seven goals in their opening two fixtures.
According to data from the official website of the Bundesliga, Agu was the fastest player on the pitch, clocking a top speed of 34.15 km/h.
He finished ahead of teammate Samuel-Germain Tshifunda (33.57 km/h) and Monchengladbach's Franck Honorat (33.37 km/h).
Bremen seized control early, with Mbangula and Jens Stage producing superb strikes to establish a two-goal cushion by half-time.
Schmid extended the lead from the penalty spot in the 74th minute after Mbangula was fouled in the area.
Boniface then made his mark, combining brilliantly with Njinmah in the 81st minute.
The striker's neat assist allowed his compatriot to find the far corner with a composed finish, sealing an emphatic away win.
The result lifted Werder Bremen to ninth in the Bundesliga table with four points from their opening three matches.
