Comfort Erhabor is on trial at Swedish Damallsvenskan club AIK Fotboll with a view to securing a transfer.
The Super Falcons goalkeeper is now a free agent after her contract with Portsmouth expired.
Erhabor left Pompey following the conclusion of the 2025-26 season after turning down a new contract as she looked to pursue opportunities elsewhere.
Her search for a new club has taken her to Scandinavia, where she is currently training with AIK, the Stockholm-based club confirmed on its official website on Thursday.
Erhabor was part of the Super Falcons squad for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, where she served as understudy to first-choice goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie.
However, the Dutch-born goalkeeper remains eligible to represent the Netherlands, her country of birth, as she has yet to make a cap-tying appearance for Nigeria.
She joined Portsmouth on a permanent deal in 2025 after initially arriving at the club on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion.
Erhabor made her full debut for Pompey against her former club Brighton in the Subway Women's League Cup in September.
The 21-year-old took part in her first training session with AIK’s women’s team at Skytteholms IP on Thursday, August 27.
