With a statement on the official website, Czech side FC Viktoria Plzeň have confirmed the signing of Salim Fago Lawal from Croatian club NK Istra on a three-and-a-half-year contract. The 23-year-old forward becomes the latest addition to Viktoria Plzeň’s attacking options for the second half of the 2025-2026 season. Lawal made his Africa Cup of Nations debut in Nigeria’s group-stage win over Uganda, coming on late in a heavily rotated side.
