Official : Alfred Effiong Extends Qormi Contract

Maltese Premier League outfit Qormi have extended the contract of their striker Alfred Effiong, 29.
The new contract will see him remain at Qormi Ground through the 2014 - 2015 season.
Alfred Effiong, a product of Command Secondary School Ipaja, has spent the last nine years in Malta, and becomes eligible for citizenship sometime next year.
Since his arrival in the Island Nation, he has had two different spells with Qormi, and donned the colours of Ajax Ker�em, St. Georges, Hamrun Spartans and Valletta amongst others.
The prolific forward had his standout season in the 2013 - 2014 campaign, netting 19 goals in 29 games, 2 more than he scored for Marsaxlokk three years ago.
