Midtjylland Striker Paul Onuachu Expresses Joy At Scoring Against Club Brugge
Published: October 02, 2015
FC Midtjylland striker Paul Onuachu has expressed his joy at scoring his maiden goal in a European club competition.
For the neutrals, the Danish champions caused a sensation at the Jan Breydel Stadium on Thursday night, beating Club Brugge 3 - 1, with Onuachu netting 13 minutes after he hopped off the bench.
But the Nigeria U23 international has insisted that The Wolves were confident of picking the maximum points, adding that they did their homework before the game.
“Of course we expected to win against Club Brugge, we went there for the three points and we got it, ” Paul Onuachu told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“I give all glory to God for my goal. I dedicate this goal to God because with him all things are possible.
“Anything can happen in football and I expect us to get a result in our next game against Napoli.”
FC Midtjylland will return to Herning on Friday to continue preparations for their next game in the Superliga against AGF.
