Official : Falkenberg FF Sign Ex-Nigerian Player Of The Year Egbuchulam
Published: April 11, 2018
Swedish Superettan club Falkenbergs FF have announced the signing of Nigerian striker Chisom Egbuchulam.
The 26-year-old will remain on the books of Falkenbergs FF until at least November 2018, having put pen to paper on a contract that will run out at the end of this season.
The former Enugu Rangers star played for BK Häcken in 2017 and the topflight club passed up the opportunity to sign him on a permanent basis when the season ended.
''I had other alternatives in Sweden and abroad, but I chose FFF because I want to help the team to create history during the season by returning to the top league. Hopefully, we will win the title,'' Egbuchulam told Falkenbergs FF's official website.
''I'm a strong player. I also have good speed and good technique. I'm good at scoring goals. But I always want to develop myself in the way the team is playing.
''It was a good experience for me (at BK Hacken) and helped me to understand how Swedish football works.''
In December 2016, Chisom Egbuchulam claimed the Nigerian Player of the Year at the annual Nigeria Sports Award after helping Rangers win the title.
