Manchester United Central Defender Signs New Deal Until 2022
Published: January 18, 2019Promising central defender Lukasz Bejger has announced that he has signed his first professional contract with Manchester United.
A Poland U17 international, Bejger joined United from Polish club Lech Poznań last summer for a fee of 400,000 pounds.
He has featured for Manchester United in the UEFA Youth League and U18 Premier League Cup, and has made the match day squad for U18 Premier League matches.
Writing on Facebook on Thursday, Bejger said : ''I will sign with Manchester United a professional contract for three and a half years. I want to thank my beloved parents and the whole family, because without you I would not be here.''
Bejger was invited to train with Manchester United's first team shortly after his arrival at the club.
Predominantly a central defender, he can also operate as a fullback and defensive midfielder.
