58-Goal Striker Of Nigerian Descent Lopez Earns Call-Up To Madrid Regional Team
Published: March 11, 2019Victoria Lopez has been rewarded for an outstanding season after receiving a call-up to Madrid Women's Under-15 football team, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
Vicky is eligible to represent the Nigerian and Spanish National Teams and she has taken her first steps towards becoming a full-fledged international with this latest call-up.
The highly-rated young striker is currently on the books of Primera División side Madrid CFF, the team Spanish U17 World Cup-winning striker María Isabel Okoye represented before transferring to CD Tacón.
Lopez will be arriving Madrid Women's U15 camp with a huge goal-scoring reputation, having netted 58 goals in 20 matches for the U14 team of Madrid CFF this season.
She is a two-footed striker, good in one-vs-one situations, pacy with excellent dribbling skills.
Meanwhile, another Nigeria-eligible player, Edna Imade has signed with an important agency representing female footballers in Spain, Agencia SQH Futbol Femenino ahead of a possible move in the summer.
The free-scoring Imade currently plays for AD Nervión in the third-tier and is on the radar of several top flight clubs.
