Young Talent Oyedele Features As Manchester United And Strikers Play Out Four-Goal Thriller In SuperCupNI
Published: July 29, 2019In the junior section, Manchester United were held to a 2-2 draw by Strikers in their opening game of the 2019 SuperCupNI on Monday evening.
Although Manchester United dominated the first half, they found themselves two goals down inside six minutes, before Kavanagh halved the deficit.
In the second half, Sam Mather who was United's best player today equalised for the English team.
Oyedele and his teammates have a chance of making it to the semifinals of the SuperCupNI if they manage to win their next two games against Co Tyrone (July 30) and Charlton Athletic (July 31) at Riada Stadium, Ballymoney and Scroggy Rd, Limavady respectively.
Young talents Tolu Ladapo, Chibike Okechuckwu and Ifeoluwa Oni have been named on the Charlton Athletic roster and are in contention to feature against Manchester United on Wednesday.
