Ex-Nigeria U17 Skipper Tijani Makes Pro Debut For TSV Hartberg In 7-0 Rout Of Dornbirner SV
Published: August 30, 2020Former Golden Eaglets skipper Samson Tijani has made his professional debut for TSV Hartberg,allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
The Red Bull Salzburg loanee was named in the starting lineup as TSV Hartberg registered a comprehensive 7-0 win against Dornbirner SV in the first round of the OFB Cup on Sunday.
Dario Tadic, Lukas Ried, Felix Luckeneder (2), Manfred Gollner, Juergen Heil and Stefan Rakowitz were the scorers for TSV Hartberg.
Tijani wore the number 8 jersey in his maiden appearance for TSV Hartberg, where he will be spending the whole of the 2020-2021 season on loan.
One of the stars of the Golden Eaglets class of 2019, he first made a name for himself at the WAFU-UFOA Zone B qualifiers, winning the Most Valuable Player award before captaining the squad at the U17 World Cup.
Tijani has a contract with his parent club Red Bull Salzburg until the end of the 2024-2025 season.
