Two promising Nigeria-eligible starlets have been recognized for their impressive goals for Manchester United's U-18s in the 2019/2020 season, allnigeriasoccer reports.
Deji Sotona and Dillon Hoogewerf have seen their efforts in the just concluded campaign selected in a cull of the best ten goals scored by the Red Devils age group in a video uploaded on the club's Twitter handle.
Sotona's solo beauty on his birthday to draw the side level in a 3-1 defeat versus Stoke City on matchweek 11, his second strike for the club was picked.
His compatriot, Hoogewerf was the hero for the club in a 1-0 FA Youth Cup victory over Leeds United, heading home a textbook header and the goal was the ninth goal picked by the club.
Both players proved efficient for the club in the concluded campaign, combining for a total of 13 goals for the club's youth teams.
The two players are set to represent Manchester United in next season's UEFA Youth League.
