'Make sure You Invite Saka And Eze' - Super Eagles Fans React To Next Month's Friendlies
Published: September 04, 2020In the wake of Nigeria's latest friendly games slated for next month, a number of Super Eagles fans have taken to Twitter to express their thoughts ahead of the eagerly anticipated crackers.
The President of the NFF Amaju Pinnick recently revealed that the Federation have lined up two high profile friendlies against Ivory Coast and Tunisia next month as part of the national team's preparations for the resumption of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
While the friendlies are a welcome one to put the Super Eagles who have been inactive since November 17, 2019 back in shape, the fans have seemingly thumbed up the country's football governing body for the arrangements judging by the comments making the rounds.
Below are some their reactions on the development on the micro-blogging media :
@f_gben: Kudos for this high profile friendlies.. a good setup for the team before the qualitifiers👍
@NdOsemeke: That's a good one, kudos to the NFF
@itsDonUche: Soar Super Eagles!!! 🦅🇳🇬✊🏾
@bukunmige: Make sure you invite Saka and Ebere Eze
@wizzyclan: Hope we won't go and park bus and play counter attacking football again. We learn nothing from that. Let's try 4-3-3, pass from the back, press High up the pitch and keep the ball. Let's learn from Liverpool. It's a friendly we don't have to win.
@thank_kelechi: The only thing that's makes me happy as a Nigerian
@jayokoshi: Anticipating 😋
