Turkish Giants Fenerbahce Interested In Signing Queens Park Rangers Winger Osayi-Samuel
Published: December 25, 2020Queens Park Rangers winger Bright Osayi-Samuel is attracting interest from Turkish Super Lig powerhouse Fenerbahce, according to reports.
Turkish sports daily Fanatik is reporting that Fenerbahce have made contact with Osayi-Samuel's agent over a transfer in the January transfer window.
The future of the Nigerian-born youngster at the Hoops in up in the air with his current contract set to expire at the end of the season and little progress has been made regarding a renewal.
Fenerbahce manager Erol Bulut has given the green light for the signing of Osayi-Samuel due to his ability to play on both wings and his physicality.
The 22-year-old has become a fans favourite at Queens Park Rangers in recent seasons, winning the Young Player of the Year and Goal of the Season prizes for 2019-2020.
He was heavily linked with a switch to Club Brugge in the summer transfer window but despite the Belgian champions offering him the chance to play in the Champions League, he eventually turned down the move.
Osayi-Samuel arrived at Queens Park Rangers from Blackpool in August 2017 and has scored 12 goals in 111 appearances across all competitions.
