Nigeria-Eligible Goalkeeper Returns To Tottenham Hotspur After Loan Spell
Nigeria-eligible goalkeeper Joshua Oluwayemi has returned to parent club Tottenham Hotspur following the conclusion of his loan spell with National League side Maidenhead United, the Premier League club have officially confirmed.

The former England U16 star joined the Magpies last October to get a taste of senior football but the loan was not successful as he found himself playing second fiddle to Fulham-owned goalkeeper Taye Ashby-Hammond.

Oluwayemi was included in Maidenhead United's matchday squad for league matches on ten occasions, and made only one appearance as a substitute, replacing an injured Ashby-Hammond at half-time vs Altrincham FC on November 28.

The Anglo-Nigerian glovesman played his second game since returning to Tottenham Hotspur on Friday evening, helping the north London club register a 2-1 win over West Ham.

He made a double save in stoppage time to ensure Tottenham secured their third away win on the bounce.

Former Arsenal defender Tobi Omole and striker Kion Etete also went the distance for Spurs, West  Ham's Dapo Afolayan started and was in action for 62 minutes while his teammates Iyiola Adebayo and Josh Okocha were non-playing substitutes.
