Former Arsenal star Kevin Campbell believes it's likely Balogun will leave Emirates Stadium summer
Published: March 04, 2021Former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell believes Folarin Balogun will depart the Emirates Stadium in the summer following his social media activities.
The England youth international of Nigerian descent has deleted all his Instagram posts associating him with Arsenal, fueling speculation that he is set for the exit door when his contract expires in June.
Though manager Mikel Arteta remains hopeful that the academy product will remain at the Gunners, in reality it is looking likely that he will join a new club on a free transfer due to a lack of first team opportunities.
Since making his domestic debut against Manchester City in the Carabao Cup on December 22, he has not been included in a first-team matchday squad.
Speaking to Football Insider, Campbell stated : "It looks increasingly likely he will leave in the summer.
"If you start removing everything associated with Arsenal from your social media… Listen, it does not bode well does it.
"I doesn’t look like he will be part of Arsenal moving forward which would be a shame because he is a very talented young man."

Balogun has scored 10 goals in 21 appearances combined for Arsenal's U21, U23 and first teams in 2020-2021.
