Chelsea, Crystal Palace interested in African striker who has drawn comparisons to Osimhen
Published: April 11, 2023Adama Bojang's impressive displays at the 2023 Africa U20 Cup of Nations have not gone unnoticed by English Premier League and European clubs.
The Steve Biko FC center forward is destined to join a European club in the coming months after catching the eye at the U20 AFCON, where he netted the match-winning goal in Gambia's 1-0 win over Nigeria.
According to the Daily Mail UK, Chelsea and Crystal Palace are the latest clubs to register an interest in signing the 18-year-old but face competition for his services.
Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest are also keeping tabs on Bojang ahead of the 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup.
Bojang has drawn comparisons to Napoli and Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen due to his playing style and physical attributes.
The report claims that Bojang could better the achievements of the Nigeria international in the game.
Just like Osimhen, the Gambian is a very mobile player, has good speed, and willing to carry out defensive pressing.
Napoli, Ajax Amsterdam, Marseille and Royal Antwerp are also interested in signing Bojang, who is valued in the region of £650,000.
