Published: May 12, 2023
With a statement on their official website, English Championship side, West Bromwich Albion have announced on their website that Celtic-reared forward, Eseosa Sule has signed his first professional contract with the club.
Sule joined West Brom in the January transfer window from Scottish side, Celtic with whom he spent ten years having joined at the age of 6.
He agreed to join West Brom on scholarship terms because he was ineligible to sign a professional contract.
Having turned 17 on April 1, the young forward became eligible to sign a professional contract which he has now signed with the Baggies.
Sule featured for West Brom U18s eight times in the just concluded U18 Premier League and registered one assist. He made his debut for Leigh Downing's side in their 4-1 loss to Arsenal in March.
Having shown glimpses of his brilliance with the U18s, he has also featured twice for the U21s in the Premier League 2 and was responsible for scoring the winning goal with a ferocious strike in their 2-1 win over Leeds United on the final match day.
The Golden Eaglets-eligible forward contract will keep him at the Hawthorns till June 2025.
