Chelsea willing to loan Anjorin this summer amid interest from European clubs
Published: July 11, 2023
After an injury-plagued season in the Championship, Chelsea are open to sanctioning the sale of former England youth teamer of Nigerian descent Faustino Anjorin, according to Football.London.
The Blues, who have sanctioned the sale of several first team players in the summer transfer window, are also open to sanctioning a loan move for the talented midfielder.
Anjorin's appearances during his loan spell at Huddersfield Town were limited last season due to an ankle issue and he's back at Cobham training alongside other players who have returned from loan spells.
Overall, the Cobham product was not available for selection in 38 games played by the Terriers due to the ailment.
Per the report, the Anglo-Nigerian is attracting interest from clubs based in England, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark and Scotland.
With several teams interested in Anjorin, Chelsea are willing to loan him but the club have no plans of selling him this summer.
Anjorin officially joined Chelsea at U9 level, rising through the youth team ranks before making his senior debut in a Carabao Cup clash against Grimsby Town in September 2019 at the age of 17.
The 21-year-old has 31 games under his belt for Chelsea, Lokomotiv Moscow and Huddersfield Town.
