With a statement on their official website, Premier League newcomers Burnley have announced their new intake of academy scholars for the 2023-2024 season.
Fourteen new first year scholars have been added to the U18 team of the Clarets for the forthcoming season.
While nine of the teenagers have progressed through the academy ranks, five have joined from other clubs.
Goalkeeper Felix Chester and Adam Abbas have been signed from Manchester United, while Marley Leuluai last played for United's rivals, Manchester City.
Chester and Abbas will remain on the books of Burnley until at least the end of the 2024-2025 season, having put pen to paper on two-year deals at Turf Moor on Friday, June 30.
The eleven other scholars are Zach Johnson, Vernon Masara, Noah Adekoya, Luca Jackson, Frankie McMahon Brown, Logan Carlin, Jack McEvilly, Adam McCoy, Oliver Pimlott, Ben Jordison and Ben Wetshi.
Burnley U18s finished seventh in the U18 Professional Development League North last season.
