Vålerenga midfielder Christian Grindheim has praised Nigeria international Fegor Ogude for his combativeness and work rate.
Against Sogndal on Sunday, Vif were losing control of the midfield until manager Kjetil Rekdal introduced hard-man Fegor Ogude.
''It was better when we put on the 4-3-3, we got more behind the ball. And Fegor is a beast as it hurts to face, so he will not come down,'' Christian Grindheim was quoted as saying by aftenposten.no.
Further describing Fegor Ogude, the experienced Norway international midfielder said: ''I got a hard tackle on the first exercise, after that I stayed away from him.''
Fegor Ogude missed close to a month of Vålerenga's pre - season training due to commitments with the Nigeria national team. The tie against Sogndal was his first game of the season.
