According to Wednesday's press release by Federação de Futebol da Guiné-Bissau, Guinea-Bissau coach Emiliano Té will unveil his final squad for the upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Tanzania and Nigeria on Thursday, September 17.
Té is scheduled to meet with journalists at 10 a.m. at the press room of the Estádio Nacional 24 de Setembro, where he will announce the players selected for the Group L fixtures.
The Djurtus will begin their qualifying campaign away to Tanzania on September 25 before returning home to face the Super Eagles four days later.
Guinea-Bissau will host the Super Eagles on September 29 at the Estádio Nacional 24 de Setembro in a crucial Group L encounter, with the match scheduled to kick off at 4 p.m. GMT.
The fixture will be officiated by Ethiopian referee Tewodros Mitiku, who will be assisted by compatriots Fasika Biru Yehualashet, Tigle Gizaw Belechew and Manuhe Woldetsadik.
Yehualashet has been appointed the first assistant referee, while Belechew will serve as the second assistant and Woldetsadik as the fourth official.
The 2027 Afcon will be jointly hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, with both Guinea-Bissau and Nigeria looking to make a strong start to their qualification campaigns.
