Lagos, Nigeria – 5th August 2026 — Former Super Eagles striker Daniel Amokachi has been unveiled as 22Bet’s Pan-African Brand Ambassador at a ceremony held at BON Hotels, GRA Ikeja, Lagos.
Amokachi, popularly called “The Bull,” is one of the standout figures from Nigeria’s golden generation. He was part of the Super Eagles team that won the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations and claimed Olympic gold at the Atlanta 1996 Games. He also featured at the 1994 and 1998 FIFA World Cups.
At club level, Amokachi played for Club Brugge (where he scored the first goal in UEFA Champions League history), Everton (FA Cup winner in 1995), and Besiktas. His career remains a reference point for many young Nigerian forwards.
