Former Flying Eagles midfielder Daniel Daga continued his impressive goalscoring form as Molde FK played out an entertaining 3-3 draw against Sarpsborg in a Norwegian Eliteserien encounter on Sunday evening.
The Nigerian midfielder was once again on target for Molde, scoring the hosts' third goal as they looked set to claim all three points before Sarpsborg staged a late comeback to earn a share of the spoils at the Aker Stadion.
The youngster reacted quickest at the back post to head home from close range after Emil Breivik flicked on a corner kick, giving the home supporters hope of a victory.
However, Sarpsborg responded strongly in the closing stages of the match, with an own goal by Polish goalkeeper Albert Posiadała helping the visitors draw level.
Despite operating primarily as a defensive midfielder, Daga has shown an eye for goal since returning to action and has become an important attacking outlet for Molde.
The former Flying Eagles star has now scored two goals in his last three league appearances, having also found the net against KFUM-Kameratene Oslo.
As the season progresses, Daga will be hoping to maintain his impressive form, continue his development, and repay the faith shown in him by Molde.
