Young Lionesses striker Princess Ademiluyi is relishing the prospect of facing Nigeria's Falconets in the round of 16 at the 2026 Fifa U20 Women’s World Cup.
Born in Gravesend, Kent, the Ipswich Town starlet is eligible to represent the Super Falcons through her Nigerian parents.
However, having featured in competitive matches for England's youth teams, Ademiluyi would need to apply for a change of sporting nationality should she decide to switch her international allegiance to Nigeria in the future.
England booked their place in the knockout stage with a perfect record in the group phase and will face Nigeria at Stadion Miejski Bielsko-Biała in Bielsko-Biała on Thursday afternoon.
Despite her Nigerian heritage and the personal significance of facing the Falconets, Ademiluyi has made it clear that she intends to approach the encounter like any other game.
Speaking to the official website of England Football, she stated: "It’s amazing to play against Nigeria, but it doesn’t change the game. When I step out onto that field I will show up like it’s any other game.
"After the game though, it’ll be nice to chat to a few of their players and see how they’re doing on their side."
Ademiluyi, who wears the No. 9 shirt, was among the scorers as the Young Lionesses cruised to a 5-1 victory over Tanzania in the group stage.
