Marseille coach Bruno Genesio has confirmed that Super Eagles midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi will miss Sunday's clash against PSG after failing to recover from his injury.
Nnadi sustained a knee injury during the second half of Marseille's 2-0 defeat to Monaco, with Neal Maupay replacing the Nigerian at the Stade Louis II.
The midfielder subsequently opted for conservative treatment instead of surgery in a bid to shorten his recovery period.
Speaking at Saturday's press conference, Genesio revealed that Nnadi and Godfrey Kondogbia will both miss the Le Classique after failing to recover from their respective injuries.
"Only Nnadi and Kondogbia will be unavailable ," the Marseille coach told the media via Made In Marseillais.
Since sustaining the injury, Nnadi has missed his side's last two league fixtures against Paris FC and Rennes.
The midfielder was also left out of the Super Eagles squad for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau, as well as the friendly against Russia.
Nnadi will now use the three-week international break to focus on his recovery, with the aim of returning to action and regaining his best form when club football resumes.
