Super Eagles manager Eric Chelle has released the list of players to prosecute the upcoming AFCON qualifying encounters against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau in September.
The list comprises three goalkeepers, nine defenders, four midfielders and eight forward players for the crucial encounters scheduled for September.
In goal, the Malian tactician has recalled Chippa United goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali following his return to action with the South African club.
However, Brentford young defender Benjamin Frederick also made a return to the team, with the absence of Zaidu Sanusi due to injury.
In midfield, the Super Eagles manager did not spring any surprises, extending invitations to the usual quartet of Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi, Frank Onyeka and Raphael Onyedika.
However, the Malian tactician also named a strong squad in attack, with talisman Victor Osimhen receiving an invitation despite still recovering from injury.
Chelle also extended maiden invitations to Saudi-based striker George Ilenikhena and Moses Usor, while Ajax forward Tolu Arokodare returned to the team following an impressive start to the campaign in the Eredivisie.
The Super Eagles will face Madagascar on September 25 before taking on Guinea-Bissau four days later in their second encounter of the qualifiers.
