Updated - Done Deal : Augustine Jibrin Pens One - Year Deal With Juventud Independiente

Augustine Jibrin's search for a new team after he was released by Finnish club OPS has yielded dividend.

The 24 - year - old has signed a one - year contract with El Salvador Premier League campaigners Juventud Independiente.

According to the official website, juventudindependiente.com, the Board and the coaching staff had approved the acquisition of the central defender.

This season, he made 17 appearances for former team OPS in the championship, netting once against SJK in July.

In addition to his stint with OPS, Augustine Jibrin previously defended the colors of NAF Rockets, FC Opa and VPS.
