Official : Kilmarnock Release Papa Idris

Kilmarnock and Nigeria international defender Papa Idris have both mutually agreed to terminate the contract binding them, the Scottish Premier League club announced on Tuesday.
Papa Idris, who joined Killie on a three - year contract from domestic outfit Kano Pillars just before the close of the March registration deadline, has struggled with injuries since his arrival at Rugby Park.
Kilmarnock said in a press release posted on kilmarnockfc.co.uk : '' It has been mutually agreed that Papa Idris shall be released from his contract with Kilmarnock, due to his lack of playing opportunities with the club and so that he may seek to further his career elsewhere.
'' We wish him well.''
The deal that took the highly rated center back to Kilmarnock was brokered by agent Tony Harris.
