Peter Odemwingie netted his first goal in the Premier League for Cardiff City in their 2 - 1 loss to Newcastle United on Saturday.Loic Remy scored in the 30th and 38th minute to give Newcastle United a two - goal cushion.
But in the 58th minute, Odemwingie scored what turned out to be an honorable goal for the hosts.
Following the loss at the Cardiff City Stadium, the Bluebirds now occupy the 13th position in the standings with 8 points from their first 7 games.
The Welsh side are away to Chelsea after the international break.
