Jonathan Akpoborie Wants Keshi To Play Emenike, Moses And Musa In Attack
Published: October 10, 2013
Retired Nigeria international and ex Wolfsburg marksman Jonathan Akpoborie has commented on the upcoming meeting between Nigeria and Ethiopia in Addis Ababa.
“They just have to be cautious and play on the counter. We are not under pressure to win at all cost, but we want a score draw if it comes to the worse, ” Jonathan Akpoborie told allnigeriasoccer.com.
In addition, Johnny advised manager Stephen Keshi to stick with a three - striker system against the East Africans.
“I would recommend that Emenike starts in the middle, Moses on the left and Musa on the right
“We know Musa is poor at finishing but his pace creates problems for the opposition,” he said.
Unarguably, Akpborie scored his most important goal for Nigeria in a World Cup qualifier against Kenya 16 years ago.
His other strikes for the National Team came in games against Eritrea, Mexico and Senegal.
