Published: October 17, 2013
Absent from the last few training sessions of Academica due to commitments with the Nigeria National Team, John Ogu trained on Wednesday morning with his Portuguese club.
Academica, second from bottom in the Primeira League standings, are preparing for the Portugal Cup clash against Belenenses on Sunday, a game which corresponds to the third round of the competition.
John Ogu was an unused substitute in the Super Eagles clash with Ethiopia last weekend, meaning he has not played a competitive match for National Team since his appearance against Spain at the Confederations Cup.
The central midfielder has made three substitute appearances in the league.
